Yeah, the more I've been thinking on it, the more I really do love just how much this movie connects back with the first, and the ways in which it does. And as you mentioned, just thinking about how far both Anna and Elsa evolve as characters along the way from where they both started, it really is a fully compelling story. I really wish there had been a double feature with the first movie, as theaters sometimes do on opening nights for big releases, because this would've been especially great to watch back to back and see it all unfold. :)Chris Widdophttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08976278029088673041noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6997580999403129485.post-67763678958407591412019-12-05T17:58:15.911-05:002019-12-05T17:58:15.911-05:00Thanks, Allie! I feel like I say it with nearly every new animated film released but this is truly one of the best looking animated films. One of my favorite aspects about this film is that when taken with Frozen, the tell a complete and fantastic story about Anna and Elsa. Each film could do well alone but together is when they are at their best. Great review, Chris!Drew Tylerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09944523328816010836noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6997580999403129485.post-48629062141599995762019-12-05T08:41:22.711-05:002019-12-05T08:41:22.711-05:00I'm really glad you loved it so much! It sucks so hard when you're hyped for something that ends up disappointing you so it's good that wasn't the case here.Often Off Topichttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15683076467959831961noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6997580999403129485.post-60939881905037868362019-12-04T17:10:23.602-05:002019-12-04T17:10:23.602-05:00Thanks, Brittani!

There's more consistency from song to song in this one, but man, the first one has some real strong hits. I do like that both movies do feel relatively unique from one another musically, even if they do still share a number elements between them all the same, so really, you can't go wrong either way preferring one over the other. :)Chris Widdophttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08976278029088673041noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6997580999403129485.post-24101208652489107482019-12-04T07:55:13.775-05:002019-12-04T07:55:13.775-05:00I'm glad you loved this so much! Obviously nothing is going to match Let It Go, but for all the other songs, I think the sequel is almost stronger or at least on par.Brittani Burnhamhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07975067259283007280noreply@blogger.com
